What's New:

• Facebook integration.  You can add your Facebook account to your hockey team.  You can post status updates, game results, approvals to Facebook wall.  You can login to the portal with your Facebook account as well.
   
• Twitter integration.  You can add your Twitter account to your hockey team.  You can tweet status updates, game results, approvals to your Twitter account.  You can login to the portal with your Twitter account as well.
   
• Checkbox to keep you logged onto the web portal.
   
• New private chat room application.
   
• Team online status bar on page footer.  It shows which general managers are currently online and you can stat chats with them.
   
• Fat footer with entire navigation within it.
   
• Site settings page, you can now upload Favorite Icon to show up on bookmarks.
   
• Site settings page, you can now upload a mobile touch icon to show up on phone bookmarks or wall.
   
• New status updates for the general managers to mimics Facebook and Twitter.  This feature turns the web portal into a social network.
   
• Add UFA and RFA status to finance page.   Fixed financial information on finance page.
   
• Fixed other minor reported bugs.

Version 2.2 - November 2, 2010

What's New:

• Made a work around the draft pick year.  When you import the draftpicks.csv file, it will increase the year by 1 so it will match the STHS game. See comment in STHS manual;

  Note regarding Draft Pick Value in CSV and XML
  In the CSV and XML files, the “year” value of a draft pick is always lower by 1. For example, if a DraftPick Year shows 1, it means that the draft picks will be used in the entry draft at the beginning of seasons 2 off-season.
   

• Added a "Send Emails" button on the Upload Files page.   This button will email the game results, next game preview and any unread messages to the gm.  If you click "Import All", it will send the emails automatically.
• Made updates to the finance page
• Can now edit prospects with apostrophe's in their name
• Made other small modifications.
   

Version 2.1.3 - September 16, 2010

What's New:

• Modified the age calculator for the junior leagues.
• Fixed the goalie save percentage formula
• Fixed the coach free agency offer
• Fixed the farm team link on the farm schedule page

Version 2.1.2 - September 1st, 2010

What's New:

• Fixed a free agency bug in the final step in signing the free agent.  If there was only one bid, the system had an error.  That is now fixed
• Made other small modifications.

Version 2.1.1 - August 18th, 2010

What's New:

• Fixed the page header to direct you to the proper farm team score results plus it will direct you to game previews for future games
• Also, if you go to a team page, it only shows the teams scores and future games opposed to the entire league
• Fixed the link for players on the trading block on the home page
• Fixed the alignment of the pro conferences on the home page for leagues that have uneven amount of teams
• The career leaders pages used to have regular season stats and playoff stats merged, they are now separated.
• I've decided to switch back from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1 character encoding because the STHS game is built in ISO-8859-1 and I was having too many problems trying to convert special characters from the actual game.  So thats why so many files have been updated this time around.

Version 2.1.0 - August 4th, 2010

This is the first update that will require a MySQL Database upgrade.  Move all files including all the contents of the UPGRADE folder to the live server.  Then go to your websites URL or type your website/upgrade/

Example: http://www.hockeysite.com/upgrade/

The web portal will ask you to click the UPGRADE button to upgrade the database of your website.  In a few seconds the upgrade will be complete.

What's New:

• Thanks to Yves Allaire we have brought back the player change request.  Its now built into the prospect and players pages.
• Also, Yves Allaire fixed a Pro and Farm team coach confliction when the Pro and Farm team names where the same
• I make a work around the transcations.csv file.  I built code to jump around all the invalid information.
• Fixed some issues in the Free Agency
• Updated the RFA offer sheet
• Add the ability to make trades and create new mail messages in the Mobile version of the site
• Fixed the issue with the trophies where the goalie had the same ID number as a player.  You may have to re-select your winners for the following trophies (MVP, Playoff MVP and Rookie of the year for both Farm and Pro).
• I added some waiver information to the site configuration that will report any players over a salary level that are hiding in the minors.  This report shows up on the admin report.  The admin can choose to send them warnings or place the player on waivers with the STHS simulator.
• Age of player issue has been solved for French and German operating systems.

Version 2.0.2 - July 23rd, 2010

• All import files are updated so you can now click the import all button
• Sometimes when you import the players it was giving an invalid column error, that has been taken care of.
• Restricted Free Agency now only lists players that have been given a qualifying contract extension offer but rejected it from the team.
• A bug in sign contract page has been patched.
• Added Waive No Trade Clause feature to players page.
• Updated the Team Depth Chart for more features
• Updated Team Finances to display No Trade Clause
