It turns out that there was a minor bug in the import_cvs_players.php file. When you had a player in the web portal with no stats and try to import him, it caused an error. I made the fix this evening.
I plan on released the next update Friday morning.
=========================================================
I along with a few other testers have potentially discovered a bug in the STHS v2 game.
Once in a while the STHS v2 game will OUTPUT a players.csv file with extra invisible characters in the csv file. These extra invisible characters are causing the importing of the players.csv to crash.
The web portal will display an error saying that the column count does not match. That is because of the extra characters generated by the game.
I've forwarded this message to Simon so hopefully this issue can be resolved by the next release.
Temperaly Solutions:
-
Open the STHS game and click OUTPUT once again and hopefully it will OUTPUT a players.csv file with no extra characters.
-
Open that CSV file in excel, go to the last column "ExcludeFromPayroll" which I think is column "EW". I select the entire next column that is empty and I press the delete key to clear all those selected column.
Then save the file and I try reuploading the file to the web portal.
I only get this problem 1 out of 10 times. I'll keep you all up to date on this issue.
